Hello,
I am an environmental economist and Associate Professor of Economics at ESPI Paris, as well as an Associate Researcher at Paris-Saclay Applied Economics (PSAE). My research focuses on natural capital valuation and the economics of natural resources.
I previously worked at the French Ministry for an Ecological and Solidary Transition as a policy officer, where I was responsible for economic instruments for biodiversity. My research investigates public policies under the Biodiversity Act, including the implementation of natural compensation sites, ecosystem services assessment, and economic incentives for ecological offsetting. I have also contributed to national and European cost-benefit analyses of new technologies in the energy and water sectors.
My PhD thesis, completed at the University of Bordeaux on the valuation of nonrenewable resources, was selected as a methodological contribution to the Natural Capital Coalition project. I was involved in the French program Environmental Capital and Sustainable River Management at the University of Limoges, where I conducted ecosystem services evaluation.
I served as co-scientific leader of the SEMEUR project (2021–2024), which evaluated urban ecosystem services in the Lyon metropolitan area, and as scientific coordinator of the CENTRAAL project (2023–2024), which maped environmental conservation policies and transport infrastructure in Latin America.
